THIRD ANNUAL TOUCH-A-TRUCK
The Third Annual Touch-a-Truck for kids of all ages will be held Saturday, May 19th from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Jackson County Expo grounds. Come sit in the seat of fire truck, move the levers of a back hoe, try on a headset in a helicopter, or ride a scissor lift. There will be many hands-on activities including a concrete truck, Caterpillar, Hummer, boom lift, police & fire vehicles, motorcycles, and a wide variety of gas-powered equipment and “big boys” toys. But this family event is not limited to boys – there will be activities and fun for everyone! Other booths include arts & crafts tables, food, face painting, and community information stations.
There will also be a mobile kitchen that will be hosting the First Annual Kids In the Kitchen Top Chef Challenge where kids from Jackson County will be strutting their cooking stuff while being judged by local celebrities.
We are partnering with the Southern Oregon Public Safety Expo this year so be sure to get your children’s car seats inspected while you are there!
There is no entry fee. Sponsored by: The Junior League of Jackson County.
