Providing free integrated services and opportunities for youth in transition at Kids Unlimited.
Providing: Meals, Shower, Laundry, Personal Supplies, Cloths/Shoes, Bedding, Medical Referrals, Mentoring, HS Diploma/GED Tutoring, Job Skills training, Recreational Activities.

The Maslow Concept:

You can't get to the top if you have a shaky foundation.
Basic needs must be met before higher goals can be achieved. The Maslow Project provides help in meeting these basic needs, along with educational and leadership opportunities to reach higher goals.

Who We Help:

If you are in any of the following situations with or without a parent or guardian you may need our help:

  • Living in Motels/Hotels
  • Living in Campgrounds, parks or unsheltered
  • Couch Surfing
  • Not living with your parent or guardian
  • In an emergency or transitional shelter
  • Doubled up with friends or relatives
  • In car or trailer
  • Moved 3 or more times in a year due to unstable housing
  • Awaiting foster care placement
  • Not enrolled in school due to any of these reasons

You Need to Know:

  • You have the right to enroll and attend school, even without a permanent address
  • You can get help with transportation to school and free school meals
  • Just because you moved, doesn't mean you must move schools
  • You can not be denied school enrollment just because you do not have school records or other documents or a parent to enroll you
  • In an emergency or transitional shelter
  • You can get help - talk to your teacher, school counselor, dean or principal

Ask About These Services:

  • Assistance with enrollment, transportation, free school meals, immunizations
  • Assistance with school cloths, hygiene supplies, school supplies
  • Laundry and shower facilities
  • Support services such as counseling, medical and dental assistance, employment, housing and utility information, food stamps, community resources, tutoring and mentoring
  • Assistance with fees for after-school activities, school spots, graduation, classroom supplies and other school related events
