Outcomes

After School Program Goal: To improve the academic, social, and attendance behaviors of the students enrolled in the Kids Unlimited after school programs, by providing preventative supports to better ensure that each of these students graduates from High School.

After School Program Objectives:
Objective:  Improve the academic performance of youth participating in the program.
Outcome:  80% of the youth participating in the Kids Unlimited after school program activities will show an increase in academic grades through homework completion, quarterly report cards and academic testing.

Objective:  Improve interpersonal relationships between children and their peers, teachers, other adults, and family members.
Outcome:  Using a pre- and post-test measure, there will be a 90% positive shift in participating youths’ attitudes towards school and family.

Objective:  Reduce juvenile delinquency and involvement in gangs.
Outcome:  There will be a 90% reduction in juvenile court activity for students participating in the Kids Unlimited after school program, as measured on a semester/end of year basis.

Objective:  Promote personal and social responsibility.

Outcome:  80% of the youth involved in the program will show an increase in school attendance and a decrease in behavior referrals as measured by school records.
