 For nearly a decade, we’ve made it our mission to give young people in Southern Oregon the chance to succeed, no matter what challenges they may face.
Poverty, violence, addiction and abuse are only too common in our communities. But at Kids Unlimited, we know that children can transcend even those hurdles with help from caring, committed leaders and structured programs that provide opportunities instead of obstacles.

Education Comes First
At Kids Unlimited, we understand that education is the key to transcending barriers of race, class, economy and circumstance. Our program began as a homework assistance site at a single elementary school in West Medford.
Since then, it has blossomed to include children from first grade through high school – and beyond. In fact, we’ve seen kids who joined our program in elementary school become the first in their families to go to college.
Our five afterschool sites employ certified teachers, aides and others who offer homework assistance and quality enrichment to more than 1,000 young people ages 6 to 12 each month.
We're All About Enrichment
Many of our kids come from families who have to struggle hard to provide basics like food and shelter, never mind amenities like art classes and dance lessons. At Kids Unlimited, we make cultural enrichment accessible to everyone, through the Main One Center for the Arts.
Every week, more than a thousand young people learn the finer points of art, music, dance, filmmaking, leadership, and more through classes taught by staff and volunteer professionals.
 Learn To Play the Game
At Kids Unlimited, we know that success is often opportunity in disguise. That’s why we’ve developed youth sports leagues that offer fundamental skills – and the chance to use them – for young people from all backgrounds interested in basketball, baseball, football and more.
Our teams have grown from novice players to powerhouse competitors in the Southern Oregon sports scene. Thanks to Kids Unlimited training and experience, young people never before exposed to sports have been able to succeed on local high school and AAU teams.
Community Matters
We know we can't do it alone. That's why Kids Unlimited has nurtured valuable partnerships with civic organizations, government, service groups, and faith based organizations. Community leaders contribute their time and skill to making sure all kids have a chance to succeed.
When No One Else Reaches Out We Will
At Kids Unlimited, we serve all young people – including those who’ve had trouble in school, at home or, sometimes, with the law. Through targeted mentoring programs, private contracts and personal intervention, we make it our mission to turn kids’ lives around, one child at a time.
Our mission includes VIBES, an under-21 social recreation outlet that uses youth culture to reach teens with real-world messages that emphasize respect, safety and self-empowerment – all while having a good time.
